"Feminization of Poverty" in America:A Historical Survey of the Late Twentieth Century

摘要 20世纪70年代中期以后,美国贫困人口的构成呈现出女性化趋势,成为棘手的社会问题之一。单亲母亲家庭急剧上升、妇女工资收入严重偏低、社会福利制度愈益保守以及子女抚养费严重不足是美国"贫困女性化"的主要形成因素。 Ever since the mid-1970s, feminization of poverty has become one of the American thorny social problems. The major causes of ＂eminization of poverty＂ are the sharp increase of single mother families, extremely low wages, ever more conservative social welfare system, and inadequate child support.
