摘要
提出了以顶点偏置算法和分阶段偏置几何体的方式生成适合于三轴数控铣削加工中基于环形刀(filled-end mill)的粗加工刀具轨迹的方法.首先生成一个偏置环形刀圆角半径距离的STL偏置模型,并用水平切平面切割偏置模型;然后在切平面内偏置截交线来确定加工区域,并规划刀具轨迹;最后把每一层面上的刀位轨迹按zig-zag方式连接构成整体加工轨迹.算法应用实例表明:该算法不仅计算简单,而且生成的刀具轨迹可完全避免干涉.
A tool path generating method for rough machining in 3-axis CNC machining was proposed by using vertex offset algorithm in multi-step offset method. First an offset model of STL was established by offsetting the original model to a distance from cutter corner radius, and sliced by horizontal planes. Then the intersection lines in horizontal plane and offset model of STL were offset to decide the machining area in each horizontal plane, and the tool path planning was done. Finally a whole tool path was generated by connecting all tool path segments with zig-zag pattern. The practical case study indicates that this algorithm is simple in calculation and can generate an interference-free tool path.
