摘要
黄永林《中西通俗小说叙事:比较与阐释》运用叙事学、比较文学和文艺学理论,将研究视点集中在叙事艺术上,采用平行比较研究的方法,在文本细读的基础上深入而又独到地梳理、论述了中西通俗小说在内容、形式、主题、情节、形象、情调、叙事艺术等方面所表现出来的契合与相似之处,并把研究予以有机地纵向贯通和横向联结,在动态中探求两者的演变规律,其比较研究的主旨是寻求中西文化的契合和世界文学的多元。这是中西通俗小说叙事比较研究领域的一部重要之作。
Narrative of Chinese and Western Popular Novels ： Comparison and Interpretation is a recent work by Prof. Huang Yonglin. Applying the theories of narratology, comparative literature and literature and art, it focuses on narrative art, based on a close reading of Chinese and Western popular novels. It combs and discusses deeply and uniquely the similarities and differences between them from the following perspectives ： content, form, theme, plot, image, sentiment and narrative art, by using parallel study. Besides, this book probes into the dynamic development and the evolution rule of them, both diachronically and synchronically. It aims to reveal the intersection between Chinese and Western cultures and the diversity of world literatures.
