摘要
政治演说语篇中词汇重复起到了重要的修辞作用,也是政治演说语篇的重要特色。词汇衔接是实现语篇连贯功能的重要手段。奥巴马的竞选演说辞中词汇重复出现的频率很高,甚至同一词汇在不同语篇中反复出现,有效地构成了统一连贯的语篇。奥巴马选择运用极富感染力的词汇,多次重复使听众的情绪受到感染,达到赢得听众支持的效果。语篇也通过这些词汇的选择运用,形成前后呼应,实现了句际间在语义上的紧密衔接与语篇上的整体连贯。
Lexical repetitioon has played an important rhetorical role in the political speech discourse, which is also and important feature of the political speech discourse. Lexical cohesion is and important method to realize the function of the discourse coherence. In Obama＇s campaign speech, the repetition of words can be frequently found, even the same word is repeated in many different discourses, which forms a coherent dis- course effectively. Obama uses the impressive words. The continuously repetition of the words impacts the audi- ence＇s emotions greatly ,which wins the support of the audience. By using these words, the discourse also gets the correspondence from the former part to the latter part, which achieves the semantic cohesion of the sentences and the coherence of the discourse.
