摘要
大学英语教学模式的变革要求高校英语教师不断转变教学理念,课堂教学要以学生为中心、既传授语言知识与技能,更注重培养语言实际应用能力和自主学习能力。因此,大学英语教学必须探索出以课堂教学为基础、以大学生自主学习及第二课堂活动为有效补充的教学体系,以切实提高大学生英语语言应用能力。
The paper attempts to expound that the reform of college aeanglish teaching modes in the new situation requires English teachers to transform their teaching notions accordingly,thus in class teaching,we should centre around students,teach not merely on linguistic knowledge and skills,but more on the practical ability training.Therefore,for college english teaching,we must develop a distinctve teaching system based on class teaching,supplemented by students＇ autonomous learning as well as after-class activities,so as to effectively enhance the ability of english application.
