Taking the municipal road construction in a certain city as the example, this paper expounds the measures for speeding up the construction progress, including shortening the earlier stage preparative work, working out the countermeasures timely according to engineering features, making rational arrangement of construction sequence, guaranteeing the amount of the workers, materials and machines, and making clear the time-series targets, etc.
