Teacher's Intervention in Asynchronous Online Learning Activities:An Empirical Study

摘要 本研究以北京大学"中小学教师教育技术能力(初级)"网络培训课程作为研究环境,从讨论帖数量、讨论深度、主帖和回帖的认知等级等三个方面,分析了网络辅导教师的"引领"对学习者参与度、学习者认知等级变化的影响。研究发现,网络辅导教师的"引领"明显提高了学习者的讨论深度和认知等级,教师的"引领"是提高网络学习参与度、提高网络教学质量的重要影响因素。 Teacher-student interaction in asynchronous teaching activities in distance learning plays a very important role in improving learning quality.This study takes the five BBS facilities for the project of 'Capacity Building on Educational Technology for Primary and Secondary School Teachers across China' as study focus,and makes qualitative and quantitative analysis of the interaction in the BBS.The authors make further analysis of the effect of teacher guidance on learner participation and learner cognition in terms of the number of postings,depth of discussion,original and follow-up postings.The results show that teacher guidance plays a markedly significant role in promoting learner participation and learner cognition,and it is also a very important factor in improving learner satisfaction and quality of online education in general.
