摘要 新加坡英语教学独特的教学理念和教学模式为我国大学英语教学提供了诸多有益的启示。设置弹性的大学英语基础课程和应用语言学课程:教材编写体现人文因素及专业性基础上的综合性;设计生动有趣的学习任务,激发学生的创造性思维,培养学生利用所学的语言文化知识解决实际问题的能力。 Since the issue of College English Teaching Requirements (trial)in 2004 by the Education Ministry of China, college English teaching in China has experienced a reform which has greatly enhanced teaching effect and students' linguistic competence. However, college graduates are expected of further enhancement with regard to the social requirement nowadays. There still comes the challenge of how to teach college English more effectively and efficiently. Centered around teaching materials and course design and teaching modules with reference to the successful teaching patterns in Singapore ,this paper intends to contribute a bit to the reform of China' s tertiary-level English teaching.
