摘要
在明确了①科学上的“现代”和“现代科学”；②现代科学区别于近代科学的科学思想；③现时代（当代）的科学构成；④中医学理论体系的本质这四大前提之后，对“中医现代化”的定义进行了如下界定：在现代科学思想的指导下，应用现代科学方法论、技术和成果，以中医学所揭示的生命的整体性、过程性为研究对象，使中医学对生命、疾病的认识以及诊疗水平均达到现代科学水平的实践过程，称为“中医现代化”。
“Modern” and “modern science”, the scientific thought of the difference between the science in contemporary age and the one in modern times, the scientific structure of contemporary age and the essence of theoretic system of TCM, after understanding clearly the above four big prerequisites, the modernization ofTCM can be defined as: Under the direction of the thought of modern science, to use the methodology,technology and achievements of modern science, to study the entirety and processing character of life as objects, to make the recognition of TCM on life, disease and the level of diagnosis and treatment reach the level of modern science, the practising course of that is named: “The modernization of TCM.”
