There were three closures owing to failures in a row after the speed control system of No.2 back pressure unit of an electrothermal company was changed to self-contained oil servo motor. The closure causes owing to failures were analyzed theoretically and practically. The problems were pointed out and the solving measures were given to guarantee safety and stable running of the generating unit.
