摘要
本研究从关联理论出发,截取美国著名情景喜剧《老友记》的片段作为幽默语料,对中国英语专业一年级学生进行了观看后笑与不笑的反应测试与诠释。结果发现:被解读的幽默包括自嘲型、模仿型、情景型、自身矛盾型、修辞型幽默,而不能被解读的幽默是文化型与突换主语型幽默。幽默的解读主要经历两种思维过程:隐性的矛盾消解和显性的矛盾消解。文章最后提出了电视情景喜剧幽默的理解图式。

The interpretation of humor mainly involves two processes: overt and covert incongruity-resolution. Finally, a model of the interpretation of sitcom verbal humor is proposed.
