摘要
事件是城市更新、区域旅游推广的重要形式,同时也充当了文化符号重构的载体。本文以"西关小姐"评选活动为例,解读在区域经济诉求的驱动下,文化符号被重新阐释、重组和再生产的过程,并分析呈现其中的传统与现代、地域与非地域、文化与市场、记忆与再现等多对关系。本文表明,事件重构文化符号的过程需要相关群体的积极参与,需要本地居民的积极配合,同时,事件策划者与本地居民之间的有效沟通有利于地方文化符号的传承与发展。
Event is an important form of urban renewal and regional tourism promotion, but a carrier for cultural symbols reconstruction as well. The paper, taking "Miss Xiguan" competition as an example, interprets the course of cultural symbols being reexplained and reproduced driven by regional economic interests and analyzes the relationship between tradition and modernity, region and nonregion, culture and market, memory and staged authenticity. The paper indicates that it requires active participation of the relevart groups and active coordination of the local people in the process of event reconstructing cultural symbols. Meanwhile, effective communication between event schemers and local people is conducive to the inheritance and development of local cultural symbols.
