Through a detailed analysis of Woolf's Between the Acts, this paper aims to highlight Woolf's literary experiments in novel writing. She employs the term 'novel-play' to blur the boundaries between the two genres. The fusion between art and nature is examined as well. A female line has been established and the situation of silence and anonymity has been improved through the vivid portrayal of women characters.
