摘要
在来势凶猛的英语全球蔓延浪潮冲击下,许多弱小民族语言不得不退出自己的领地而被英语这样的强势语言逐渐取代。英语全球化的现状和其对世界弱小民族语言的吞噬、取代,弱势民族语言的灭亡及其文化知识的丧失揭示了弱势民族语言文化面临的毁灭和威胁,保护人类长期积累并赖以生存的语言文化宝藏,建设美好和谐的多元语言国际环境是我们所有人不容推卸的义务。
In the ferocious waves of the impact of the global spread of English,the languages of many weak and small nations were forced to withdraw from the territory of their own and were gradually replaced by strong languages such as English.This article analyses the current situation of global English and how it swallows and replaces the languages of the weak and small nations of the world,and at the same time it also reveals the possible destruction and the threat that the languages and cultures of the weak nations are faced with.It calls on people to protect the long-term human accumulation and living treasures of the languagse and cultures,and to build a better multi-language and multi-cultural harmonious international environment.
