摘要
本文通过对民族杂居区语言使用的个案调查研究，认为民族杂居区语言使用的特点突出地表现在：（１）双语现象的普遍性和双语使用的不对等性；（２）语言使用的层次性和功能互补性。在此基础上分析民族杂居区语言使用的类型转化特点，并对如何有效地保留和保护少数民族语言和文化提出一点看法。
After investigating some cases of the languages used in the multi-ethnos areas of the southern and northern China, the author deems that there are such projecting conditions: 1. Bilingualism is very common, and the uses of languages are not equal. 2. Different languages are always used in different levels, and their functions are mutually supplementary. On the base of the analysis of language use conditions and types transformed, the author proposes how to treat the enthnic languages and cultures in these areas.
