摘要
模特专业是高等院校的新兴专业，为了进一步拓宽模特专业的创办途径。本文通过综合分析模特业的社会需求、中国模特的教育现状，以及体育院校创办模特表演专业的必要性因素，认为模特随着我国市场经济的高速发展，将具有广泛的市场前景，模特表演专业的学生就业渠道宽，市场潜力较大．体育院校开设模特表演专业具有学生素质、课程体系、训练设施、师资队伍及管理机构等诸多优势，对于丰富和提高整个模特队伍的文化素养可以另辟蹊径，对体育院校自身延伸专业方向、拓宽办学渠道、提高学生就业率都具有重大意义．
Mcdel is a new carter in colleges and universities, in order to furtherly widen the set-up means of rood- el acting major, model＇s social demands, model＇s educational condition was analyzed in China, and the essencial factors of establishing model acting major in sports school. The resuhs show that the rapid development of china＇s market economy, model in China will have a tremendous market prospect, students majoring in model acting will have a big employment channel and market potential. Sports school has such advantages as students＇ quality, course system, training facilities, teaching group and administrative organization to establish model major, which can find a special way to enrich and improve the quality of the whole model team, and meanwhile the establishment of model major in sports school has great significance of extending the school itself＇s major, widening channel of running school and improving students employment status.
