摘要
《飘》的畅销盛况一度成为出版史上的一段佳话,但传统的文学观念却使《飘》遭受文学史的冷遇。后现代主义文学思潮引发的文学观念变革,推动《飘》进入研究视野,逐步确立了《飘》在通俗小说中的经典地位。《飘》改编成电影,扩大了其文化效应,同时也暴露出它在研究视野中的身份尴尬。
Popular literature has become an important subject of study around the world in the latter half of the 20th century. This thesis summarizes the course of studies on the American popular classic Gone With The Wind in the 20th century. The first part of the paper outlines the process of how Gone With The Wind became an important subject of the academic study. The second part discusses the achievements and limitations of these studies in the context of cultural studies.
