Synthesis of Azido-capped Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) by RAFT Free Radical Polymerization

摘要 S-十二烷基-S-′(2-羧基-异丙基)三硫羧酸酯与叠氮乙醇反应合成了一种新型叠氮链转移剂(2);在2存在下通过可逆加成-断裂链转移(RAFT)自由基聚合合成了含叠氮端基的聚N-异丙基丙烯酰胺(3)。其结构经1H NMR,IR和GPC表征。研究结果表明,3呈现较好的温敏性,低临界溶液温度为28.5℃。 A novel azido-terminated chain transfer agent (2) was prepared by the reaction of S-dodecyl-S'- (2-carbosyl-isopropyl) trithiocarbonate with azido-ethanol. By reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer(RAFF) free radical polymerization, an azido-capped poly (isopropylacrylamide) (3) was synthesized in the presence of 2. The structures were characterized by 1H NMR, IR and GPC. The result showed that 3 exhibited clear thermosensitivity, and its lower critical solution temperature was 28.5 ℃.
