摘要
欧洲浪漫主义文学是影响中国现代文学发展的重要思潮之一。它对自我的标举与崇尚唤醒了中国现代作家的自我意识和反抗精神,使表现自我、强调自我成为其创作的基本主题。它的主情说使作家的突破封建理性的禁锢而将表现感情视为艺术的本质,并导致某些反对形式技巧、追求无功利性的极端倾向。它的"返归自然"的主张则使作家们将大自然作为自我人格与理想的寄托,使中国现代文学中自然的成分得以加强。
Romantic literature in Europe is one of the important trends of thoughts which influenced modern Chinese literature. Its embrace and worship of selfhood awoke the modern Chinese writers'self-awareness and rebelious spirit, and made it a basic motif of their works that represents and emphasizes selfhood. Its theory of advocating emotion enabled them to break the confinement of the feudal reason and see emotion-portraying as the essence of aesthetics, which led to some extreme tendency that objects to artifice and pursues non-utilitarianism. Its opinion of "returning to nature" made them regard the nature as the bailment of their personalities and ideals, and reinforced the component of nature in modern Chinese literature.
