The novel Vastness of Ba Rivers was written by OUYANG Yu-cheng from Wan Zhou, Chonging. It demonstrates the vicissitudes of the Xiajiang during the whole 20th century. It seems like a window, from which the readers can walk up to Chongqing -the fourth manicipality directly under the Chinese Central Government know its folk custom culture, appreciate its unique dialect, know about peoples change in life,feel the difficulty of starting one cause and understand the immigrant＇s intelligent world.
