摘要
以苯甲酸和甲醇为原料,用复合催化剂催化合成了苯甲酸甲酯。考察了催化剂用量、原料摩尔比、反应时间对酯化率的影响。结果表明,与传统催化剂浓硫酸相比,复合催化剂具有更好的催化性能,在复合催化剂(硫酸钛+硫酸锆)催化作用下,苯甲酸用量0.5 mol,醇酸摩尔比10:1,复合催化剂用量为苯甲酸质量的4%,70℃冷凝回流反应3 h,酯化率可达94.3%。
Methyl benzoate was synthesized using benzoic acid and methanol as raw material over composite catalysts. The effects of reaction conditions including dosage of catalyst, molar ratio of raw material, and reation time on the esterification rate were examined. The result showed the composite catalysts had better catalytic performance compared with conventional catalysts such as sulfuric acid. The esterification rate could be up to 94.3% in the presence of composite catalysts (titanium sulfate + zirconium sulfate) under the reaction conditions as follows : dosage of benzoic acid 0.5 mol, molar ratio of alcohol to acid 10: 1, dosage of composite catalysts 4% ( based on the mass of benzoic acid), reflux temperature 70 ℃ for 3 hours.
