摘要
"吃了他三个苹果"一类句式到底属于单宾还是双宾结构学界争议很大。本文指出,该句式既有单宾结构的属性,又有双宾结构的特点,是一种句法歧义结构,而这种歧义的根源在于该句式正在经历一个由单宾结构向双宾结构转化的语法化过程。当该句式属于单宾结构时,动词之后的"NP1+NP2"具有TopP结构,NP1为名词性成分中的话题,NP2则充当其述语;当该句式属于双宾结构时,NP1与NP2分别充当动词的两个宾语,前者为蒙事,后者为受事。
Whether constructions like ＂ Chi-le Ta San-ge Pingguo＂ are transitive or ditransitive has long been debated. It is pointed out in this article that they have the characteristics of beth, and hence should be analyzed as syntactically ambiguous structures, whose ambiguity comes from a transitive--ditransitive grammaticalization process they are undergoing. When they belong to the transitive construction, the ＇NP1 ＋ NP2＇ chunk is a TopP, with NP1 as the topic and NP2 the comment; when they axe ditransitive ones, NP1 and NP2 axe analyzed as two different objects, bearing the affectee and the patient thematic roles respectively.
