摘要
目的了解卫生九项目地区和非项目地区暗娼性病预防知识知晓情况,评价卫生九项目干预工作效果。方法在4个卫生九项目省各选择两个项目地区和两个非项目地区。调查人群是在固定场所提供性服务的暗娼,根据性服务收费水平,将暗娼所在的场所分为高、中、低3个档次,按照1∶2∶1的比例,采用问卷的方法共计调查2069人。结果有效调查了2028人。受调查的暗娼人群性病相关知识知晓率为42.1%,项目地区为55.0%,非项目地区为28.9%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。项目地区高、中、低3个档次场所暗娼性病相关知识的知晓率分别为59.9%、56.4%和46.6%,非项目地区同档次组暗娼的知晓率则分别为31.5%、29.1%和25.5%,两类地区相比存在统计学差异(P<0.01)。将调查人群按文化程度分层分析显示,除了大专及以上组外,项目地区其他文化程度组的知晓率均显著高于非项目地区。结论卫九项目针对暗娼的干预活动覆盖了大部分的目标人群,项目活动的开展提高了该人群性病预防知识的知晓率。
Objective To understand the status of STI-related knowledge and behaviors among commercial sex workers (CSWs) in World Bank Health IX ( HIX ) project areas and non-project areas, and to evaluate the effectiveness of its intervention work. Methods Two project cities and two non-project cities were selected from each of the four HIX project provinces. The entertainment centers that provided commercial sex service at the cities were stratified into top-, middle- and low-grade according to the cost of service. And 2069 CSWs were selected from the selected entertainment centers at a proportion of 1 : 2 : 1. Results A total of 2028 (98.0%) available questionnaires were retrieved. The awareness rate of the participants about STD-related knowledge was 42. 1% (55.0% at the project areas, 28.9% at the non-porjeet areas). The difference between two areas was statistically significant (P 〈 0. 01 ). The rates of the partici- pants at top-, middle- and low-grade sites of project areas were 59. 9% , 56.4% and 46. 6% respectively, and those of non-project areas were 31.5% , 29. 1% and 25.5% , respectively. The difference between two areas was statistically sig- nificant (P 〈 0. 01 ). The wareness rates of the participants with each culture level exept junior college at project areas were higher than those at non-project areas. Conclusion The intervention work supported by HIX covered the majority of the target population and was effective on improving CSWs' STI-related knowledge.
