以公共交通为导向的发展策略(Transit Oriented Development,简称TOD)是一种新兴的、节约土地资源、综合效益高的城市发展策略。作为实现城市可持续发展的重要措施,TOD的优势体现在解决城市拥堵、改善人居环境等许多方面。
Transit Oriented Development（TOD） is a strategy for urban development which is emerging, saves land resources and has high synthetical benefit. As an important measure to implement urban sustainable development, TOD is a dominant way in many aspects such as releasing traffic pressure, improving living environment, and so on.
