摘要
语言是文化的表现形式,是文化的重要组成部分,语言和文化两者相互依存,密不可分。因此,英语学习不仅是语言学习,也是文化学习。学习者既要遵从英语的结构规则,又应重视其使用规则。文章将依据语言与文化的关系理论,就文化因素对英语词汇学习产生的影响进行探讨。
Language is one manifestation of culture and an integral part of culture. English study is far beyond a study of language ; it＇ salso a study of culture. Thus the learners should both go by the rules of language construction and attach great importance to the rules of language use. This paper, based on the theory of the relationship of language and culture, makes explorations into the effect of cultural factors on English vocabulary learning.
