摘要
在碱性条件下,以氧气作为氧化剂,氯化铜和氯化钴作为催化剂,甲醇作为溶剂进行了对甲酚液相氧化,高选择性得到对羟基苯甲醛。再通过在氯仿中进行单溴化反应,在甲醇中以氯化亚铜和DMF催化进行甲氧基化反应得到香兰素。这种高效制备方法总收率达62.4%.

The liguid phase oxidation of p cresol by oxygen under alkaline condition using copper chloride and cobaltous chloride as catalysts and methanol as solvent,has been performed with a view to afford the correspending aldehyde with sufficiently high selectivity.The cuprous chloride and DMF catalyzed exchange of bromine by methoxide in 3 bromo 4 hydroxybenzaldehyde,which was obtained by monobromination in chloroform,provided an efficient method for preparing vanillin using methanol as solvent.The overall yield of reactions was 62 4%.
