摘要
采用不同改性剂对碱式硫酸镁晶须(MOS)进行表面改性,研究改性前后碱式硫酸镁晶须对软质PVC基体阻燃性能和力学性能的影响.结果表明,在不同改性剂中,以钛酸脂的改性效果最好;随改性后的晶须在软质PVC基体中含量的增加,复合体系的氧指数逐渐增大,拉伸强度和断裂伸长率比纯PVC基体有所降低;当晶须的添加量为60份(以100份PVC为基准)时,复合体系的综合性能较好.
Magnesium sulfate whisker (MOS) was modified by using different surface modifiers. The influence of modified and unmodified MOS on flame retardancy and mechanical properties of flexible PVC was studied. The experimental result indicated that the titanate had a better modification effect than other modifiers. With the increase of modified whisker content in the composite system, oxygen index of the composite system was gradually increasing, tensile strength and elongation at break of the composite system decreased, when compared with pure PVC matrix Flexible PVC added with 60% due addition of modified MOS exhibited better comprehensive properties.
