摘要
同年会即指隋唐以来同榜及第者的聚会活动,包括朝廷在发榜后组织的由全体新及第者参加的庆祝活动及各种私人聚会。由于进士科乃科举时代最重要的科目,同年会主要指同榜进士间的聚会。同年会既是新科进士建立交往关系的开始,也是他们日后加强交往、增进友情的主要平台,因而是古代士流社会中一种十分重要的人际交往方式。
Tung-nien Associations were organizations which imperial examination-passers of the same year joined in. The parties covered celebrations for the new passers held by government and all kinds of private parties. As the final imperial examination was the most important at that time, the membership of Tung-nien Associations was mainly privileged by Imperial Scholars. The Association of- fered not only opportunities for the new Imperial Scholars to gain friendship with each other and also a chief platform where they could strengthen their relations and further cooperation in the future. That＇ s why Tung-nien Association was an important way of social companion in ancient intellectuals＇ state.
