摘要
汉藏语系是有数百种有亲缘关系语言的总称,它的研究发端于十八世纪末,经过许多代境内外学者的不断探索,已经取得了一定的成果,但仍然存在许多重大分歧,中国是汉藏语系语言分布的故乡,理应对汉藏语系研究做出更大的贡献,本文简要回顾了汉藏语系研究的历史经过,介绍了中国学者目前开展的一些工作,期望在本世纪为推动汉藏语系研究做出更大的贡献。
Sino - Tibetan Language Family is a general name for hundreds of related languages. The research of the Language Family, started in the 18th century, has produced lots of important findings thanks to the endeavors by scholars at home and abroad. Still, opinions vary sharply. As a homeland of Sino - Tibetan Languages, China is expected to make greater contributions to the research of the Language Family. This article reviews the history of the research and introduces the present development in this regard, paving the way for further studies in China in this century.
