摘要
目前高职生生源结构复杂,学生文化基础普遍薄弱,元认知策略欠缺,性格虽较外向但有自卑感,这给高职英语教学提出了极大的挑战。针对高职生的这些特点,在高职英语教学中要以教师的人格魅力感染学生,要注重培养学生的元认知策略,并通过课前演讲、课堂引导——创设语言输入输出的环境和条件、课堂活动以及多媒体教学激发学生的动机和兴趣,有效提高他们的英语应用能力。
A demanding challenge has been offered to English teaching in vocational colleges by the complex structure of vocational students resources, whose cultural foudations are generally weak, metacognitive strategy in need, and who are extroverted though with feelings of inferiority. Taking the above mentioned features of vocational students into consideration, this article puts forward that teachers are expected to infect students with their personality charm in the whole process of educat6ion, stresses should be laid on forstering students' metacongintive strategy and that pre-class speches, class guidance to create language environment and conditions, class activities and multi-media teaching are conducted to stimulate students' motivation and interest, and effectively promote their practical English abilities.
