摘要
国家建构是现代化的政治前提。现代国家建构是现代性在国家制度体系和国家意识形态上的集中体现,也是一个国家由传统政治形态向现代政治形态转变的持续性历史过程。这一过程涉及民族国家建构和民主国家建构两个维度。民族国家的建构需要公民教育的社会整合功能以实现国家的一体化建设,民主国家的建构则需要公民教育的民主化功能以实现民主观念的传播和公民参与的培育,推进国家的民主化进程。而公民教育的功能取向又往往因现代化进程中各国民族与民主建构特性的不同呈现出不同的表现。
State-building is the political prerequisite of modernization. The political modernization which means state characterized,i.e. the modern state-building,is that the modernity embodies a concentrated reflection of national institutions system and national ideologies and that the continuous historical process which a state can be transformed from traditional political formation to modern. The process involves two dimensions about nation-state-building and democracy-state-building. Nation-state-building requires the social integration function of citizenship education to realize the state's integration,while democracy-state-building requires the democratization function of citizenship education to realize the propagation of democratic ideas and cultivation of citizen participation,so the state's process of democratization can be carried forward. Meanwhile,the function orientation of citizenship education will have different results because of different national and democratic building in every state in the modernization process.
