摘要
商务英语新闻语篇里存在着大量隐喻性的词汇,这些词汇的语义建构是基于概念隐喻的认知机制,因此,试从空间隐喻、实体隐喻和结构隐喻三个方面来解释这些词汇的语义建构。对商务英语新闻词汇语义建构的理解有助于读者正确理解商务英语新闻语篇,更好地把握国际经济动态,减少跨文化交际中的误解。
There are a large number of metaphorical words and phrases in the English business news whose meaning construetions are based on the cognitive mechanism of conceptual metaphor. This paper makes an analysis of the meaning construction of these words and phrases from the perspective of spatial metaphor, ontological metaphor and structural metaphor so as to help readers better understand the English business news discourse, grasp the current international economical situation and reduce the cross-cultural misunderstandings.
