摘要
英美文学教学在改革过程中逐渐将课堂的中心转向了学生,试图让学生自由地发表自己观点,但效果不佳,得到的反应往往是沉默。文章以接受美学和读者反应论为依据,试图对"沉默的读者"这个问题进行探讨,并提出以观看影视作品,加强背景介绍,唤起学生的期待视野的方式进行教学改革。
Thanks to the reform carried out in the classrooms, the teaching of British and American lit- erature courses now focuses on the responses of readers. But surprisingly, when invited to respond, the students prefer to remain silent. This paper attempts to discuss and address this issue in accordance with the receptive esthetics and reader-response criticism, and proposes an reform in the class that is based on watching movies adapted from classical novels, introducing background knowledge, etc, so as to construct a better expectation horizon for the students.
