摘要
明确汉语状语的含义,界定其范围是深化状语研究的基础和前提。状语界定的研究先后经历了根据修饰语本身的性质、中心语的性质、整个偏正结构的性质来确定状语含义的三个阶段。确定状语的范围涉及状语与其他句子成分,如定语、主语、述语、连谓结构中的前一组成成分的区分、同时也要与全句附加语、独立语的区分开来。
The definition and range of adverbial of modern Chinese is a starting point and prerequisite. There are three stages in the definition of adverbial by studying character of modifier, the word （or phrase） which is modified, the subordinate phrase consisting of a modifier and the word（s） it modifies. The range of adverbial is related to difference separately between adverbial and attribute, subject etc. in syntax; between adverbial and modifier with the head of a sentence, an independent element in pragmatics.
