二氢枯茗酸催化脱氢合成对异丙基苯甲酸的新方法

Improved Synthesis of p-Isopropylbenzoic Acid from Dihydrocumic Acid

摘要 采用5%Pd/C作为转移氢催化剂,原料二氢枯茗酸为氢给予剂,以工业双戊烯作为氢接受剂和溶剂,合成了对异丙基苯甲酸.考察了催化剂用量、反应时间和反应温度对反应的影响,确定了合成对异丙基苯甲酸的最佳反应条件:5%Pd/C用量为原料的5.3%(质量比)、反应时间20 min、在回流温度下,对异丙基苯甲酸的收率可达90%.催化剂重复使用5次后活性是原来的89%. The p-Isopropylbenzoic acid was synthesized by catalytic transfer dehydrogenation with 5% Pd/C using dihydrocumic acid as material and hydrogen offer, industrial dipentene as hydrogen acceptor and solvent, reacted directly under reflux condition. The effects of amount of 5%Pd/C, reaction time and temperature were investigated. The optimum conditions of the synthesis were determined as follows: mass ratio of 5%Pd/C to material the 5%, reaction time 10 min and at reflux temperature. The yield of p-isopropylbenzoic acid was up to 93 % under above conditions. The repeatedly used times were investigated, 90.3% of the active to primary 5%Pd/C, after used 5 times.
