摘要
成语通常具有整体性、凝固性的特点,并且具有很强的民族性。这些特点给成语的翻译带来很大的困难。徐盛桓的含意本体论找到了造成这种困难的原因,其原因在于事物在不同的语言文化中具有不同的常规关系。试图在含意本体论中的常规关系的指导下探讨成语翻译的方法。
Idiom is a freeze word whose meaning is not clear from the meaning of its individual words and which must be learnt as a whole unit. Most importantly, different culture and different history affect idiom much. It is different to translate idiom. Xu Shenghuan＇ s meaning ontology finds out the reason why it is different to translate idiomsthat is different thing in different culture has different stereotypical relation. This paper presents tentative answers to the question that how to translate idiom based on Stereotypical relation.
