摘要
［１］和［２］研究了用双圆弧逼近三次平面曲线的算法．采用二次曲线偶逼近三次平面Ｂｅｚｉｅｒ曲线，得到一种用二次曲线偶逼近三次平面曲线的算法，它保持逼近曲线的整体光滑性，比用双圆弧逼近精度高，速度快．本算法亦适用于用二次曲线偶逼近其它类型的三次平面曲线．
The bi-arc approximation of cubic curves is discussed in[1]and[2].An algorithm on the bihyperbola approximation of cubic Bezier curves is given in this paper.It aims at the smoothness of the resulting curve. It can save a half of drawing information for a given precision. The precision is higher and the speed is faster than that with arcs approximation.
