摘要
对比语言学是语言学研究的一个重要学科,近年来有了长足的发展。对比语言学发展的强势也促使人们对该学科重新审视,通过对对比语言学的源头与研究方法重新进行思考,从不同的角度对已经形成的定式或常识提出问题预设,继而做出进一步的探索。本文试从3个方面对对比语言学进行再思考:对比语言学的起源、对比与比较以及个性与共性研究。
Contrastive analysis is a branch of linguistics and has been rapidly developing. It is commonly believed that contrastive analysis was established in the 1950s with the publication of R.Lado's book Linguistics Across Cultures and that it is focused on the dychronic study rather than on the synchronic study, aiming to find out the differences instead of similarities. Opposed to the 'common knowledge' previously formed, this paper aims to re-examine contrastive studies by answering the three questions concerning the contrastive studies: the origin of contrastive analysis, its study method of 'compare' and 'contrast' and its focus concerning 'individuality' and 'universality'.
