摘要
论述了在市场经济体制下建立安全工程（师）专业技术职称的必要性；介绍了安全工程（师）专业技术资格评审条件及其知识结构；
The necessity for establishing the technical title for safety engineering(engineer) speciality under market economy is discussed. Its appraisal rules for technical qualification and its knowledge structure are introduced. At the same time,the importance in stabilizing the whole technical staff in this field due to the establishment of this system and the promotive significance in production safety are expounded.
