摘要
《土木工程概论》是土木工程专业一门重要的专业基础课,内容浅显易懂,适合采用双语教学。该课程在双语教学的实践中,借鉴国外一些常用的教学方法,选择了合适的教材;采用直观形象的教学形式,并进行课外强化训练,加强师生间和学生间的互动交流。学生一接触专业,就接受了双语教育,这将有利于改变学生的思维模式、开拓学生的视野、增强学生直接用英文思考问题、解决问题的能力;有利于培养具有创新能力及国际竞争力的优秀人才。
BASIC CIVIL ENGINEERING is an important professional fundamental course for the major of civil engineering. The content of it is easy to understand and appropriate for bilingual teaching. During the practical bilingual teaching of the course, some teaching methods popular in other counties and suitable textbook are used as well as the visual teaching form. So to strengthen the extra-curricular training and inter-teacher-student interaction exchanges. At the beginning of professional study, the students accept the bilingual education, which will help them to change the mode of thinking, open their horizons and enhance their abilities of thinking directly in English and problem-solving. It is conducive to foster talents of innovation capability and international competitiveness.
