摘要
英国浪漫主义文学是人类文学史上讴歌自然的典范,是当今生态批评和生态文学史重要的研究对象。生态批评中一个亟需研究的问题就是如何看待自然、科技与人的关系。恰在英国工业革命之后的英国浪漫主义文学作品,不仅仅有对自然的赞美,同样也有对科学技术进步的欢欣和忧虑,这些思想将是生态批评最宝贵的财富。
English Romantic Literature is a brilliant model for the celebration of nature in the history of world literature and a favorite topic for the current eco- criticism and ecological literary studies. One of the major issues in eco- criticism is how to view the relationship between man and nature and scientific technology. In the works of British Romanticism which emerged after the industrial revolution we can find not only the celebration of nature, but also joy and anxiety about the advancement of science and technology and these thoughts are treasures for eco- criticism.
