摘要
传统观点认为英国浪漫主义文学与古典主义是两元对立的。本文通过分析论证说明,英国浪漫主义对古典主义来说,是“后来者”,后来者本身中总是包含着一种对先来者的继承、反抗和超越。
Whenever people discuss the relationship between Romanticism and Classicism, they would use such term as binary opposition to describe it, but according to the study made in the paper, it is not the case. Romanticism can be considered as a literary phenomenon following classicism which Romanticism reacted against, inherited and even transcended.
