摘要
简要回顾了数字地球概念的产生,对比了中美两国数字地球研究状况,总结了虚拟地球的成功经验;分析了数字地球在军事领域中的应用特点、前景和关键技术,强调深入开展地理空间信息军事应用研究的意义;最后简单介绍了我国科研院所在这方面取得的成绩。
A brief history of digital earth was reviewed at first. Then the research trends in both USA and China are compared and some successful experiences of virtual globe are concluded. For the application of digital earth in military domain, typical features and key technologies are analyzed. Additionally, the research on military application of geospatial information is emphasized. At last, achievements made by some scientific institutions are mentioned.
