摘要
表面等离子体激元(Surface Plasmon Polaritons,SPPs)是一种在金属和电介质界面上传播的电磁波。它的独特性质可以突破传统光学中的衍射极限。利用波导内的电磁场耦合理论,设计了一种基于控制SPPs传播的周期性金属纳米波导阵列。研究表明,光波在波导阵列内有负折射现象发生;模拟结果表明,单点光源所成像点突破了衍射极限,但是双点光源成像分辨率依然无法突破衍射极限。
Surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs) were surface waves which tended to propagate along the interface between metals and dielectrics.It could be used to guide electromagnetic energy below the diffraction limit of conventional dielectric optics because of it's unique optical properties.A period metal nano-waveguide array was designed based on SPPs with coupled mode theory.Reasearchs indicate optical wave propagates in the waveguide arrays with negative refraction.Simulations show that the super-diffraction imaging of single spot light source is achieved,but failed to distinguish the images of two spot light sources beyond the diffraction limit
