In order to search for the highly efficient and low toxic pyrethroids, sixteen novel compounds were synthesized by reaction of 1 aryloxy 4 chloro 2 butyne with pyrethroid acid. Their structures were confirmed by 1H NMR, IR, elementary analysis or MS. The preliminary bioassays of all compounds indicated that four of them, B 1, B 2, B 4 and B 6, showed high insecticidal activity to mosquito larva.
