摘要
研究了合肥储存环直流清洗电极的清除离子机理,认为此类直流电场能够改变储存(积累)束流势场的轴对称形态;变形后势场形态有利于消除离子陷阱不稳定性,有利于积累束流的增加.提出了适于此类清洗电极的直流清除离子电压与积累束流阈值流强、最高流强的线性关系.
This paper presents clearing an ion trapping mechanism for clearing electric field in the Hefei storage ring. It is believed that the axially symmetrical pattern of the stored beam potential can be deformed by the DC electric field, and that the deformed potential pattern facilitates the clearing of ion trapping instability and the increase of accumulated beam. The linear dependences of the threshold current and the maximum current on DC clearing ion voltage are also presented.
