摘要
分析了煤矿安全监测等系统的现状和缺陷，提出采用多媒体计算机技术统一管理各系统，针对多媒体系统中的重点和难点——工业电视的视频图像的数据压缩，分析和研究了模型基的数据压缩编码方法，取得了较为满意的结果．
The status and the problems existing in the systems of safety monitoring etc. in coal mines are described, and a method of managing all the systems using the multimedia technology is put forward. To solve the important and difficult problems of the systemdata compression of video image of the industrial television, the modelbased data compression method is used and a better result has been got.
