摘要 因近年国学热而重被提起的马一浮,以六艺之学为国学,现今颇受推崇。但其国学观,在他那个时代,其实极为特殊,因而赏音也就较少。马先生之洞见及其学术宗旨,亦正需由他如何与众不同处才能看出。故而从三个方面说明马先生国学观的特点。(1)说明其国学不仿拟西学,也不取法于西人之治学方法,甚且认为西方在文化上存在着大问题。(2)说明民国初年的国学运动皆依托大学,惟马先生反对现代大学体制,独欲以夏变夷,自办书院,讲说六艺。(3)再说明历来理学家较重四书,不甚治经学,故清儒倡言经学以反理学。民国时期讲以科学方法整理国故的,也自认为继承了清人治经之法,反对理学。马先生却是阐发群经大义的理学家,不只在当时无与伦匹,在整个学术史上也可独树一帜。 With the rising popularity of traditional Chinese learning, Ma Yifu's theory of "six arts (six classics)" learning has been very much discussed and advocated. However, his concept of traditional Chinese learning was very special in his days and was not well received. Ma's idea and academic principle should be discussed with regard to his unique interpretations. This paper analyzes the characteristics of his traditional Chinese learning philosophy in three aspects. First, his theory did not imitate or borrow those in the West because he thought that Western culture had some major problems. Second, the traditional Chinese learning movement in earlier Republican years was based on university education. But he strongly opposed the modern university system and emphasizing "assimilating Barbarians with Chinese civilization" by establishing academies and teaching six classics. Third, in the past, Neo-Confucianists had focused on The Four Books instead of Confucian classics study. Therefore, the study of Confucian classics in Qing Dynasty was encouraged to oppose Neo-Confucianism. The scientific approach to dealing with national heritage in the Republican period was also thought to follow the Qing method of Confucian classics study, which was opposed to Neo-Confucianism. But Ma Yifu was a great Neo-Confucianist in interpreting Confucian classics. This was unique and unequaled at that time, and in the academic world.
