摘要
以人基因组(2C=7.0 pg)为参照,利用流式细胞术,测定雄性和雌性毛冠鹿细胞中DNA含量,研究毛冠鹿基因大小。结果表明:雄性和雌性毛冠鹿细胞中DNA含量分别为4.962和4.971 pg;毛冠鹿基因组大小为2.43×109bp。毛冠鹿基因组虽大于麂亚科赤麂,但小于后从麂亚科中分离出的小麂,由此推测毛冠鹿已经过较长时间的独立进化。
Muntjac deer (Muntiacinae, Cervidae), include Muntiacus and Elaphodus, are distributed throughout Southeast Asia, China, and India. The C-values of male and female tufted deer was determined by flow cytometry using human lymphocyte cell DNA content (2C=7.0 pg) as a standard. Result showed that DNA content for male and female tufted deer were 4. 962 and 4. 971 pg, respectively. The genome size was 2.43× 10^9 bp. The genome size of tufted deer was larger than that of Indian muntjac, but smaller than that of the Chinese muntjac, which had diverged later than tufted deer from the Muntiacinae subfamily. So we can assume that the tufted deer had experienced a relative long period of independent evolution.
