摘要
由于历史上新化接纳了大量的江西移民,移民带来的赣语与新化本土的湘语发生了长期的接触,导致新化方言具有了明显的赣语色彩,表现在:古全浊声母舒声字今读塞音塞擦音时一般为送气浊音;古浊声母去声字今部分念阴平;有浊上归阴平的现象;入声的走向与部分赣语相一致,等等。
Because of having taken massive Jiangxi（江西） immigrants into Xinhua（新化） in the history, Gan（赣） group which the immigration brings and the Xinhua（新化）＇s native language has had a long-term contact, which caused the Xinhua（新化） dialect having the obvious characteristics of Gan（赣） group, such as： the MC voiced initial non-checked tone words are aspirated voiced when they are read as stops and affricates, some MC voiced initial Qusheng（去声） words are the Yinping（阴平） now; some MC voiced initial Shangsheng（上声） words are Yinping（阴平） now; the trend of Rusheng（入声） is as the same as some Gan（赣） dialects, and so on.
